There are a few easy ways to book tickets for your chosen event, including accessible seating options. You can book online through Ticketmaster, or if you'd prefer to chat with someone directly, we’ve listed contact details below to help you out.

Accessible seating is available for any patron with access needs — not just those who use wheelchairs.

If you have questions, are booking for a larger group, or would simply prefer to speak with someone, please contact Ticketmaster here for support.

How to Book Accessible Tickets Online

1. Head to the Ticketmaster event page for your show.

2. Click the ‘All Ticket Types’ drop-down box.

3. Select ‘Accessible Tickets’ from the list.

If you're planning to drive or be dropped off, here’s what you need to know about accessible parking near Palais Theatre.

For full details, please visit the City of Port Phillip Accessible Parking page.

There are accessible parking bays available on Cavell Street, with access via Jacka Boulevard or The Esplanade. You can view the location on this map.

Cars displaying a Category 1 Disabled Parking Permit (blue permit) are exempt from paying parking fees within the City of Port Phillip.

If you're being dropped off at the theatre, passengers can alight vehicles on Cavell Street close to the venue entrance.

Venue Entry and Assistance

Venue Entry

Entry into the venue foyer is via the Lower Esplanade main entrance doors. All entry doors are accessible, and there are no steps from the footpath outside the venue to the front of the Ground Level auditorium.


Stalls Entry

For access to the Stalls auditorium, you’ll find accessible seating in Stalls Rows AA & WW, along with access to the Lift and an accessible toilet.


Level 1 Access

Lift access is available to the Level 1 foyer, which provides access to the bars, Lounge Row D accessible seating, and an accessible toilet.

Accessible seating is available on both Ground Level and Level 1 for your convenience.

Palais Theatre accepts Companion Cards. When you arrive on event night, please ensure that you present a valid Companion Card to our staff.

Accessible toilets are available on both Ground Level and Level 1, next to the venue elevator. In addition, ambulant toilet cubicles can be found in our main toilet facilities.

The auditorium and some events may have low lighting levels. If you have low vision and need assistance, please feel free to contact the venue at admin@palaistheatre.com.au or, on the event date, flag down one of our staff for support.

Palais Theatre offers a hearing loop free of charge for patrons with auditory limitations. To use the hearing loop, please request the equipment from a staff member on the Ground Level. You will be asked to leave a form of ID.

Guide and support dogs are always welcome at Palais Theatre. If you have any questions about bringing your support dog into the venue, please feel free to contact us at admin@palaistheatre.com.au or (03) 8537 7677.

Please note that due to the noise levels at some events, you may wish to consider alternative aids for shows with higher noise levels.
