AL BANO PARKING - FRIDAY 9 FEBRUARY, 2018
Due to the bump in of the St Kilda Festival (a City of Port Phillip Event), the Palais Theatre has been advised by the City of Port Phillip that the St Kilda Triangle carpark, which is located right next to the Palais Theatre will be unavailable (closed) for the Al Bano Concert. This closure is completely beyond the control of the Palais Theatre as we don’t own or operate this carpark.
Due to the unavailability of this carpark and taking in to consideration that the Al Bano show is sold out, we strongly encourage Al Bano fans attending the concert, to travel by either public transport, be transported by friends or catch a Taxi or Uber to and from the show.
If you must drive, then please allow extra time and arrive early, there are some terrific eateries in nearby Jacca Boulevard, Acland Street and Fitzroy Street and you may wish to try one of the following car parks;
- St Kilda Sea Baths - 10 Jacka Boulevard (approximately 5 minutes’ walk) – 300 car parks
- Luna Park - 23 Shakespeare Grove, St Kilda (approximately 3 minutes’ walk)
- Acland Street Shops - 2 Belford Street, St Kilda (approximately 6 minutes’ walk)
- Acland Court - 183 Barkly Street St Kilda (approximately 8 minutes’ walk)
- Marine Parade Carpark - Marine Parade (approximately 7 minutes’ walk)
- Jackson Street - 36 Jackson Street, St Kilda (approximately 9 minutes’ walk)
- Metropol - 64 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda (approximately 14 minutes’ walk)
Please be aware that almost all parking in St Kilda, including on-street is paid parking. So please check the signage and bring your credit card and/or change with you.
If you are driving and your passengers can not walk long distances, we will have a Palais Theatre Guest Drop Off zone located in Cavell Street near the rear of the Venue. You can drop off your passenger(s) here and then continue on to find a car park.
